Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Do (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazushi Sakuraba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Bruce Do!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kazushi Sakuraba!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Do is looking to score with low kicks.

Do shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Do showed some decent athleticism there.
Sakuraba gets back to full guard.

Sakuraba is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Do defends well.

Do loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Sakuraba looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Sakuraba has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Do can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sakuraba wants to control the position but Do says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Sakuraba has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Lock and Roll Grappling Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Sakuraba on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Do thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sakuraba's head.
Sakuraba wants to control but Do is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Sakuraba is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Do pulls his head out easily.
Sakuraba has hold of Do's hands but Do slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Do looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sakuraba with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Do is working Sakuraba over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Do lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Sakuraba escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Do gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Do working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Sakuraba looking for subs off his back but Do has passed one foot through into half guard.

Sakuraba is looking for a sweep. Do is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Sakuraba is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Do scores with a couple of nice shots.

Do moves into full mount! Sakuraba won't be happy about that!
Sakuraba is still in real trouble! Can Do finish him?
Oooooh, big shot lands for Do! Sakuraba is hurt baaadly! Do is firing away with more strikes - Sakuraba is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruce Do!
Bruce Do really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Kemists ↑ 5x160Q logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
