Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Antonio Bishop!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dalton McConnel!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McConnel throws a right and a left that both miss.
McConnel lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Bishop has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bishop there as he acknowledges the shot.
Bishop tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. McConnel manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bishop tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but McConnel defends well and Bishop ends up having to push McConnel into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Bishop's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
McConnel misses the shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bishop clinches with his opponent.

Bishop breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bishop tries to clinch up but McConnel circles away and keeps his distance.
Antonio Bishop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McConnel throws out a loose jab but Bishop uses good head movement to avoid it.

McConnel connects with a crisp jab.
McConnel lands with a right hand.
McConnel throws a left and a right that both miss

and Bishop counters with a shoot takedown. McConnel fights it but they end up in guard.
McConnel utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
McConnel avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Bishop gets to his feet. McConnel looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Horrible takedown attempt by Bishop or perhaps it was just good defense by McConnel, which made it look bad.
Bishop tries to move into range but McConnel moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Bishop takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Bishop walks into a stiff left hand from McConnel.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bishop displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as McConnel throws out the jab.

A shot in the inside from McConnel.

Bishop's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
McConnel jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
McConnel circles away from the clinch attempt.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts McConnel, as that shot connected.
Bishop takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
McConnel has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Bishop tries to clinch up but McConnel circles away and keeps his distance.
McConnel might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
A swing and a miss from McConnel.
McConnel is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bishop had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Bishop takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
McConnel cracks Bishop with a good jab.
Bishop shoots in for a takedown but McConnel shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Antonio Bishop. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bishop tries to clinch
and McConnel counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
McConnel throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McConnel looks to land a left hand but Bishop moved out of range nicely.
Dalton McConnel is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
McConnel connects with the punch.
McConnel scores with a decent looking hook.


Bishop is rocked!
McConnel looks to throw the jab but Bishop is out of range.
Oh Bishop is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McConnel wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Bishop walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McConnel cracks Bishop with a hook to the temple - Bishop is on wobbly legs here! McConnel swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Bishop falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! McConnel wins by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Dalton McConnel!
Dalton McConnel took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'Lamas should have never left the island. '.
