The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez looks to land a combination but Lothbrok avoids it well.
Lothbrok throws a right and a left that Lopez avoids nicely.
Lopez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lothbrok misses with a double jab.
Lopez throws a head kick but Lothbrok moves out of range.
Lopez avoids the body shot from Lothbrok.
Lothbrok connects with a right hand. Lopez shakes it off.

and Lothbrok counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Lopez ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lothbrok fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lopez moves to clinch but Lothbrok breaks away
letting Lothbrok counter with a right hand.

Lopez misses with a takedown
and Lothbrok counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Lopez throws a leg kick which misses Lothbrok's front leg but catches the back leg as Lothbrok tries to avoid it.
Lopez tries to clinch up but Lothbrok circles away and keeps his distance.
Lothbrok scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Lothbrok sends Lopez crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Lothbrok is motioning to the referee to let Lopez up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Oh Lopez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Lothbrok engages and cracks Lopez with a massive lead left hook - Lopez tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Lothbrok is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
