Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Artie Lange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lange comes into the arena with ACDC-You Shook Me(All Night Long) blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Lange looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Ward is looking to slow Lange down with leg kicks.
Ward swinging wildly here.
Ward lands a head kick. Lange smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Ward shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lange is trying to defend but Ward finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lange is on top in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lange is fighting to break Ward's control of his arms but Ward is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Ward lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Ward turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Ward manages to end up in side control.
Ward decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Good leg kick by Ward there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A combination from Ward does no damage.
Lange gets tackled into the cage by Ward. Ward maintains the clinch.
Lange manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The ref stands the fighters back up. Tommy Ward was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Lange tries to close the distance and clinch but Ward swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lange throws a sloppy head kick and Ward moves out of range easily.
Ward clinches.
Lange tries to score a body lock takedown but Ward shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Lange wants to break free but Ward has control.
Ward jumps guard and drags Lange to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ward is trying to control the position but Lange postures up.
Ward looking for a sweep. Not yet Ward, not yet.
Ward is pulling down on Lange's head. It's preventing any offense from Lange, at least for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Ward is pressed up against the cage. Lange has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ward down to the mat. Ward avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Ward is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Ward passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Ward looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Ward manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ward fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lange, pushing him back against the cage.

Ward feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Lange darts in looking for a takedown but Ward gets double underhooks and turns Lange into the cage.

Tommy Ward showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Ward dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lange. That did some damage!

A nice left hand lands by Ward.
Ward has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Lange clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

You can see the frustration on Lange's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Ward is looking to control Lange but Lange is wriggling around and keeping busy.

Ward really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Lange.
Ward tries to keep control of the position but Lange is staying busy.

Ward stalling away here and it's allowed Lange to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Lange looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ward is one step ahead there.
Ward wants to stand but Lange has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Well Ward has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
