Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between KJ Noons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mambo Tequila (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tequila has chosen Psychosocial as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Noons.
Tequila throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tequila shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Noons pinned against the cage. Noons gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Tequila crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Noons - the referee stops the clock and Tequila gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Noons. Tequila manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Noons fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tequila has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tequila tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Noons manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mambo Tequila seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tequila will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
