Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Nim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikhail Prokhorov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prokhorov has chosen Ski Ski as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Nim.
Nim takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Prokhorov instigates a clinch.

and Prokhorov counters with a crisp right hand that drops Nim! Prokhorov lets Nim back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nim throws the left hand but Prokhorov avoids the punch easily.

Nim works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Nim looks to score with a jab to the body but Prokhorov is just out of range.

and Prokhorov counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Nim takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Prokhorov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nim circles away quickly and effectively.
Prokhorov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Prokhorov drops Nim with a beautiful combination! Nim stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Prokhorov is looking for the KO!

Tim Nim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nim throws a sloppy head kick and Prokhorov moves out of range easily.
Prokhorov cracks Nim with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Nim falls to his knees and Prokhorov doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
