A fine choice. Billet has chosen Rude will lose! as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 1, fighting out of New York, Clay Wilkinson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 27 - 2, fighting out of New York, Belin Billet!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, John Kavanagh and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilkinson misses with a wild combination.
Wilkinson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Billet swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Billet throws a shot from downtown. Wilkinson moves away and avoids it.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wilkinson.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Billet, as that shot connected.
Wilkinson tries to clinch but Billet is having none of it.
Wilkinson connects with a leg kick. Billet looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Billet takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Wilkinson moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wilkinson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Billet cracks Wilkinson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Billet takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Wilkinson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Billet lands with a cross.

and Billet counters with a nice uppercut.
Wilkinson shoots in but Billet avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Billet throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wilkinson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Billet lands with a nice body punch.
Billet missing with a left hand there. Wilkinson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Billet scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Billet walks into a stiff left hand from Wilkinson.
Wilkinson throws the left hand but Billet avoids the punch easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Billet connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Wilkinson's hands.
Billet throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wilkinson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Wilkinson wants to land a leg kick but Billet is out of range.
Billet avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Billet fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Wilkinson takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Billet dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Wilkinson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Billet looks to score with a jab to the body but Wilkinson is just out of range.

Wilkinson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Wilkinson throws a front kick aimed at Billet's knee but Billet avoids it well.
A telegraphed right hand from Billet misses the target.
Wilkinson swings for the body but Billet moves out of range.
Billet stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clay Wilkinson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Billet scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Wilkinson doesn't seem bothered though.
Billet slips a straight right by Wilkinson.
Billet misses the jab.
Belin Billet is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Billet moves out of range as Wilkinson strikes.
Billet is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Wilkinson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Wilkinson tries to close the distance and clinch but Billet swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Wilkinson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wilkinson shoots for a takedown but Billet saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
We've been informed that Billet has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Billet.
Billet stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Wilkinson throws a body punch but Billet moves out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Billet connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Billet misses with a wild body shot.
Billet connects with a body shot that sends Wilkinson's belly button to the back.

Billet lands a big head kick that sends Wilkinson tumbling to the mat! Billet takes a step backwards and waves Wilkinson back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Wilkinson is rocked!


It looks like Clay Wilkinson has been cut.
A solid leg kick lands there for Wilkinson.
Oh Wilkinson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Billet lands a big uppercut and Wilkinson crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Wilkinson looks OK. Billet waves Wilkinson back to his feet!
Wilkinson gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Billet gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Wilkinson is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Belin Billet!
