Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Deflatter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jimmy Deflatter is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Jonathan Paton and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Deflatter counters with a takedown into side control.
Deflatter decides to stand up, so the ref orders Davis to his feet.
Deflatter closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Deflatter lands in his opponent's guard.
Deflatter forces his way into half guard.
Davis is trying to maintain the position but Deflatter is very close to passing his half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Davis won't allow Deflatter to pass to mount.
Davis throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Davis is trying to stand up here but Deflatter is controlling him well.
Davis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Deflatter on the ground.
Deflatter is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Davis doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Deflatter.
Deflatter is looking for a kimura but Davis is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Deflatter to get the leverage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Deflatter wants to get back to his feet.

Deflatter seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Davis is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
