Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gator Bait (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dale McCann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gator Bait!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dale McCann!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCann throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

and Bait counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
McCann throws a hook but Bait blocks it.
Good exchange - McCann coming out on top.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bait fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with McCann, pushing him back against the cage.
McCann wants to break free but Bait has control.
Bait escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bait on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
McCann tries to clinch up but Bait circles away and keeps his distance.
A telegraphed right hand from McCann misses the target.
McCann's coach down at Eternal Evil Training Centre was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on McCann's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Bait scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
McCann throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Dale McCann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Bait keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of McCann's head.
McCann wants to get back to his feet but Bait is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Bait stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McCann swivels though and keeps the full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bait accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Bait seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Bait thows a huge punch but McCann dodges it nicely.
Bait takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
McCann keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Bait has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bait thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed McCann's head.

Bait looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

McCann throws a lazy right hand but Bait sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bait scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Dale McCann will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

McCann lands a brutal head kick. Bait looks out on his feet and McCann throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

Dale McCann opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
