Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Adam Worrington!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Erick Silva!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Sandra Marshall and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Worrington tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Worrington to the ground. Worrington escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Silva avoids a punch combination nicely.
Worrington throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Worrington moves into range and clinches up with Silva.
Silva misses with a body punch.
Silva is trying to drag Worrington to the mat but Worrington just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Worrington lands a left hand that snaps the head of Silva backwards.
Worrington works on Silva's body with a couple of short punches.
Our sources have told us that Worrington has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.

Worrington decides to pull guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Silva stands up from Worrington's guard - Silva perhaps looking for a knockout.
Silva drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Worrington circles away from the clinch attempt

so Worrington counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Silva is trying to keep Worrington in close.

Silva is looking for a triangle but Worrington pushes his legs off easily.
Worrington throwing strikes from guard but Silva blocks nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva is trying to control the position but Worrington postures up.
Worrington lands a couple of digs.

Worrington gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

A lazy left from Worrington finds it's target.

Adam Worrington seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Worrington swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Worrington lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Silva is looking to clinch.
Worrington lands with a nice body punch.
Silva fails with a takedown attempt.
Adam Worrington has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erick Silva.

Silva fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Worrington sprawls well initially but Silva persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Silva seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Worrington does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Worrington is looking to control Silva's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Worrington avoid being mounted?

Silva is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Worrington is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
