Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Matheo Kranc!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Santiago Holmes and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kranc throws a right and a left that both miss.
DeCola lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Kranc moves out of range of the body kick.
DeCola connects with a solid leg kick.
DeCola throws a leg kick but Kranc sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Kranc scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Kranc lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

DeCola looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Kranc lands strikes from half guard.
DeCola wants to improve his position but Kranc is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kranc is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, DeCola has managed to free his arm - good work.

Kranc is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Kranc wants to work for an arm triangle but DeCola is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are battling for position here. DeCola manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Kranc thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

DeCola working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kranc doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but DeCola is tightening it up a little... Kranc has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kranc reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kranc taps out! Nice BJJ there by DeCola!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Lazar DeCola!
Lazar DeCola was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
