It looks like Tim Douglas has been cut.
Douglas misses with a looping right.
Taveras avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Taveras has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Douglas is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Taveras cracks Douglas with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Douglas looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Taveras finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Douglas looks to land a left hand but Taveras moved out of range nicely.

Taveras lands a big uppercut and Douglas crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Douglas looks OK. Taveras waves Douglas back to his feet!

Taveras cracks Douglas with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
