Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Omar Barksdale!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crichton looks to land a left hand but Barksdale moved out of range nicely.
Crichton stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Barksdale slips a straight right by Crichton.
Crichton ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Crichton throws a right and a left that Barksdale avoids nicely.
Barksdale staying out of range there.
Nice uppercut lands for Crichton. That snapped Barksdale's head back.
A big left from Crichton misses.
Barksdale uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Crichton.
Crichton misses with a looping left.
Crichton lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Crichton misses with a series of wild punches.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice shot lands for Crichton.
Barksdale takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Crichton throws out a powerful jab.
Barksdale is rocked!
Barksdale tries to clinch up.
Barksdale uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Crichton.
Crichton cracks Barksdale with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Barksdale tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Crichton pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Barksdale is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Crichton!
