The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arellius throws a body kick, spinning off balance
enabling Karev to counter with a crisp jab.
Karev lands with a straight right. Arellius didn't see that one coming.

It looks like Titus Arellius has been cut.
Arellius tries to work over Karev's front leg with a kick but Karev checks it.
Karev cracks Arellius with a right hand to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Arellius throws a chopping leg kick but Karev manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Arellius throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Arellius on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Arellius fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Karev manages to avoid it.

Oooooh!!! Karev has knocked Arellius down with a huge combo! Karev steps away and waves a wobbly Arellius back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Karev drops Arellius with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Arellius looks back up at him and smiles so Karev waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Arellius is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Karev rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Arellius moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Arellius looks up at the clock. Bad move! Karev lands a right hand from hell, dropping Arellius. Karev pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oleg Karev!
Oleg Karev is the new heavyweight champion!
Oleg Karev decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
