Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ernest Zoruka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nate Jones!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Zoruka looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jones misses the jab.
Zoruka keeps the fight on the outside.

Zoruka closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Jones digs a right hand into Zoruka's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Zoruka's gas tank.

Zoruka escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Jones fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Zoruka sprawls well initially but Jones persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Zoruka is breathing heavily.
Zoruka trying to control but Jones postures up.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jones is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Zoruka sees it coming and defends easily.
Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Zoruka keeps working.
Jones winds up and cracks Zoruka with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jones seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Zoruka is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

In his post fight interview, Nate Jones started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
