Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mike Brunner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Watt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Watt's choice of entrance music: 30 Seconds To Mars - Closer To The Edge. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
18 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mike Brunner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Derek Watt!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brunner walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Watt misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Brunner misses with a series of wild punches.

Watt is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Watt avoids a punch combination nicely.
Brunner takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Watt connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Brunner's hands.

Brunner has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Watt after a bit of a struggle.

Brunner is trying to drag Watt to the mat but Watt just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Watt just misses with a elbow thrown towards Brunner's brow.

Brunner is trying to drag Watt to the mat but Watt just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

The referee is keeping an eye on Watt - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Brunner tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Watt just stands there and leans against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Brunner throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Watt stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Brunner is looking to wear down Watt with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Brunner moves forwards but Watt connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Brunner swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Brunner takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Watt will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Brunner takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

and Watt counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Brunner out cold! What a finish! Watt is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
