Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Robinson Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruslan Hagush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Robinson Bell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ruslan Hagush!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hagush moves out of range as Bell strikes.
Ruslan Hagush seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hagush fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Hagush tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bell swivels and escapes.
Hagush has his takedown stuffed

and Bell counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hagush's guard now.
Robinson Bell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ruslan Hagush.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Bell drops back looking for a leg! Hagush is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hagush manages to kick Bell off! Bell jumps back into Hagush's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bell tries to free his leg and advance position but Hagush is retaining full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hagush can do anything to dispel that myth.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bell wants to control from the top but Hagush keeps moving.
Hagush seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Hagush shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bell but Bell pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Hagush shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bell manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Bell working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hagush doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hagush manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Bell not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Hagush got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bell has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hagush has managed to get both his arms back between Bell's legs - danger averted.
Hagush must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Hagush chips away with some ground and pound.

Bell is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Oh Bell is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hagush working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Hagush working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bell's head.
Hagush is working Bell over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Bell looking for a guillotine here but Hagush defends easily.
Bell seems to have got his legs back now.
Hagush lands a couple of elbows.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hagush gets to his feet and stands over Bell, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Bell felt that one! Hagush unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Bell from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ruslan Hagush!
A very excited looking Ruslan Hagush rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
