Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Santiago Duffy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Woodlamp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Woodlamp is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by KillaGraham- Clowns. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Santiago Duffy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gary Woodlamp!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Duffy is defended easily by Woodlamp.
Woodlamp scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Woodlamp jabs Duffy to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Woodlamp pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Duffy shoots and misses
and Woodlamp counters with a nice low kick that buckles Duffy's knee momentarily.
Duffy on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Woodlamp. Woodlamp obviously looking to wear him down.
Duffy goes for a double leg but Woodlamp avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Woodlamp continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Santiago Duffy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Woodlamp connects with a nasty looking knee right to Duffy's face.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Woodlamp manages to break the clinch.

Some bone on bone action there as Duffy checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Duffy tries for a takedown but Woodlamp circles away easily
and Woodlamp counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Duffy displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Woodlamp.
Woodlamp tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Duffy manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Woodlamp is looking to clinch.
Duffy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Woodlamp keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Duffy shoots for a takedown but Woodlamp saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Woodlamp tries to close the distance and clinch but Duffy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Woodlamp shoots in looking for a takedown but Duffy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Woodlamp's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Woodlamp looks winded!
Duffy has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Duffy moves in looking to clinch but Woodlamp pushes him off.
Woodlamp keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Woodlamp tries to break the clinch but Duffy is controlling the position.
Duffy has Woodlamp pushed against the cage.
Duffy working hard to break the clinch.
Duffy slowing the pace effectively.
A frustrated look appears on Woodlamp's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Duffy's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Woodlamp tries to circle away but Duffy has him pinned against the cage.

Woodlamp lands a nice elbow.
Woodlamp missing with knees to the body.

Woodlamp breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Woodlamp tries to clinch up.
Woodlamp slaps away a takedown attempt from Duffy, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A head kick misses from Woodlamp.
Woodlamp has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Duffy is landing a low percentage of strikes.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Duffy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Woodlamp's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Woodlamp preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gary Woodlamp dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Duffy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Woodlamp sprawls well. Woodlamp wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Duffy gets slowly back to his feet.
Duffy closes the distance and clinches up with Woodlamp, looking for a takedown. Duffy pushes Woodlamp against the cage but Woodlamp circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Woodlamp throws a nice inside leg kick.

Woodlamp scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Duffy regains full guard. Nicely done.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Woodlamp is breathing heavily.
Duffy is controlling Woodlamp's posture.

Woodlamp won't allow Duffy to sweep him here.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Duffy shoots in for a double leg but Woodlamp sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Woodlamp tries to work over Duffy's front leg with a kick but Duffy checks it.

Duffy shoots for a double leg takedown but Woodlamp sprawls well. He's pushed Duffy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Woodlamp fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Duffy swats away the attempt to clinch by Woodlamp.
Duffy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Woodlamp lands a body shot.
Woodlamp lands with a thumping leg kick.
Woodlamp throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Duffy on the side of the head.
The fight stays on the outside here - Woodlamp looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Duffy shoots in looking for a takedown. Woodlamp tries to sprawl out of it but Duffy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Woodlamp manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Duffy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Woodlamp as he avoids it easily.

Gary Woodlamp is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Woodlamp forces Duffy back against the cage and clinches.

Gary Woodlamp showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Woodlamp feints a jab promting Duffy to slip. Woodlamp then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Duffy slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Duffy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Woodlamp sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Duffy somewhat.
Woodlamp buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Woodlamp tries to clinch but Duffy is having none of it.
Woodlamp lands a nice leg kick that just misses Duffy's sensitive parts.
Duffy has his takedown stuffed
and Woodlamp counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Duffy is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Duffy is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Woodlamp.
Woodlamp takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Woodlamp displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Duffy.

Duffy fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Duffy closes the distance and clinches up with Woodlamp, looking for a takedown. Duffy pushes Woodlamp against the cage but Woodlamp circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Woodlamp goes for a double leg but Duffy avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Duffy continues to drive forward.

Woodlamp's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Duffy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Woodlamp as he avoids it easily.
Duffy takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Woodlamp connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Duffy momentarily.

Woodlamp closes the distance and pushes Duffy back into the cage.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Woodlamp prevents Duffy from breaking the clinch.

Woodlamp manages to break the clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Duffy.
Duffy has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Woodlamp.
Woodlamp tries to close the distance and clinch up but Duffy swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Duffy is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Woodlamp escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Duffy shoots in looking for a takedown but Woodlamp manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Duffy's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Woodlamp tries to clinch up but Duffy circles away and keeps his distance.
Woodlamp misses with a head kick.
Duffy shoots in but Woodlamp avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Woodlamp swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Duffy.
Gary Woodlamp is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
A nice inside leg kick there by Woodlamp. That's going to slow Duffy down.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Woodlamp stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Woodlamp wants it to stay on the feet.
Santiago Duffy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Gary Woodlamp seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Duffy gets tackled into the cage by Woodlamp. Woodlamp maintains the clinch.
