Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Microscopic Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nuriel Leonard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hunt might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bad to The Bone . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leonard lands a jab.
Hunt attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Leonard throws a looping overhand right but Hunt ducks down to avoid it.

Hunt moves away from the strike by Leonard.
Leonard's corner calls for a 1-2. Leonard obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Hunt misses with an attempted mid kick.
Leonard misses with a two punch combination.

Hunt fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Leonard, pushing him back against the cage.
Leonard can't find room to land a body shot as Hunt controls the action.
A head punch on the inside from Leonard fails to land.
Leonard lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Hunt lands a nice uppercut.
Leonard scores with an uppercut up the middle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hunt lands a hook that snaps the head of Leonard backwards.
Leonard tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Leonard using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Hunt has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Hunt lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Leonard tries a body shot but Hunt blocks it.
Hunt misses with a punch on the inside.
Hunt's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Hunt lands a hook that snaps the head of Leonard backwards.

Leonard is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Hunt swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Leonard lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Hunt wants to improve his position but Leonard is controlling well.

Hunt is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Leonard frees his head nicely. Oh but Hunt has switched to an armbar! Leonard is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
