The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minotauro looks to land a combination but Guzman avoids it well.
Guzman closes the distance and clinches up with Minotauro, looking for a takedown. Guzman pushes Minotauro against the cage but Minotauro circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Minotauro throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Guzman throws a lazy right hand but Minotauro sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Guzman takes a swing at Minotauro's ribcage but misses.
Minotauro lands a jab to the head.
Guzman takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Minotauro ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Guzman scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Minotauro connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Guzman rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Minotauro moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Guzman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Minotauro manages to avoid it.
Minotauro throws a nice outside leg kick.
Guzman shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Guzman rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Minotauro makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Guzman really felt that one!
Arturo Guzman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
