Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Belle Kelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Coleston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Belle Kelo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Coleston!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Anthony Taglia and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelo swings for the body but Coleston moves out of range.
Coleston closes the distance and clinches up with Kelo, looking for a takedown. Coleston pushes Kelo against the cage but Kelo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Coleston slaps away a takedown attempt from Kelo, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Coleston shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kelo but Kelo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Coleston tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Kelo gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Coleston to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Kelo wants to sweep here but Coleston controlling him for the moment.
Kelo has a closed guard, preventing Coleston from standing up.
Kelo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Coleston has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kelo is working away from the top position though.
Kelo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Coleston does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Belle Kelo has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Kelo closes the distance and clinches up with Coleston, looking for a takedown. Kelo pushes Coleston against the cage but Coleston circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Kelo dives in for a single leg takedown but Coleston sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Belle Kelo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Coleston breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kelo sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Nice takedown defense from Kelo. No joy for Coleston on that attempt.

Coleston moves to clinch but Kelo breaks away
and Kelo makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Kelo tries for a takedown but Coleston sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Kelo gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Kelo is trying to stall.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Coleston is pressed up against the cage. Kelo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Coleston down to the mat. Coleston avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Coleston tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kelo swivels and escapes.
Coleston shoots in looking for a takedown but Kelo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Coleston's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Kelo tries to sprawl but Coleston drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Coleston is trying to control. Kelo wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Coleston prevents Kelo from improving his position.
Coleston wants to free his trapped foot but Kelo is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Coleston seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Kelo gets back to full guard.

Kelo is working an open guard so Coleston takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Coleston defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kelo.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Coleston.

and Coleston counters with a nice leg kick.

Coleston is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kelo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Coleston fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kelo avoids it really well and circles away.

No luck for Kelo with that takedown attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kelo tries for a takedown but Coleston sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Coleston counters with a slapping leg kick.
Coleston tries to close the distance and clinch but Kelo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Coleston tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kelo defends well and Coleston ends up having to push Kelo into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Coleston has Kelo pressed against the cage, preventing Kelo from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Kelo wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
I was talking to Kelo's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Coleston gets control of Kelo's arms and successfully pulls guard. Coleston will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Kelo tries to free his leg and advance position but Coleston is retaining full guard.
Kelo missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Coleston wants to stand and escape but Kelo is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Coleston is looking for a triangle but Kelo pushes his legs off easily.

Coleston is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Coleston wants to control his opponent's hands but Kelo gets his hands free.
Coleston covering up well under a barage of strikes.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Coleston is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Belle Kelo will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Coleston throws a push kick but Kelo slaps the foot to one side.

Kelo tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Kelo shoots in and drives through. Coleston sprawls well.
Coleston dives in and grabs Kelo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kelo pushes down on Coleston's head and hops out.
Kelo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Coleston is fending him off so far but Kelo persists. Nope, Coleston circles away and we're back to standing.

Kelo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Coleston gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Coleston has closed the distance and engaged Kelo in a clinch.

Coleston's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Coleston is stalling here but it's allowed Kelo to get half guard.
Coleston is looking to take a break and control but Kelo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

I think Coleston has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
