Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zeus Leonidas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zen Yi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zen Yi is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zeus Leonidas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zen Yi!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leonidas motions for Yi to come forward. Leonidas throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Leonidas throws a hook but Yi blocks it.
Leonidas throws a looping overhand right but Yi ducks down to avoid it.
Leonidas attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Yi has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Leonidas is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Leonidas misses with an uppercut.
A jab from Leonidas misses.
Yi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Yi lands with a nice body punch.
Yi moves to clinch but Leonidas breaks away

and Leonidas counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Leonidas.
Leonidas can't break the clinch.
Leonidas prevents a body shot from Yi.
Leonidas is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Yi lands with a right to the head.

It looks like Zeus Leonidas has been cut.
Leonidas wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Yi has him pressed against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Yi fails to land.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Yi.
Yi tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Leonidas's elbow.
Yi comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Yi jumps guard and drags Leonidas to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Leonidas wanted to stand there but Yi had control of the position.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Zen Yi wasn't active enough on the ground.
Yi fails to land the takedown.

A swing and a miss from Leonidas.
Leonidas throws a chopping leg kick but Yi manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Leonidas looks to land a right hand but Yi moved out of range.
Nice uppercut there from Leonidas.
Leonidas misses with a low kick.
Yi wants to clinch up but Leonidas keeps it at a distance.
Leonidas misses with a looping right.
Leonidas thows a left - swing and a miss!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Leonidas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Leonidas fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Yi checks it well.
Yi getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Yi doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Yi swings for the body but Leonidas moves out of range.

Yi misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Leonidas.
A slow jab from Yi misses its intended target.
Leonidas dodges the punch combination from Yi.
Leonidas bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Yi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Leonidas manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Leonidas throws a lazy right hand but Yi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Yi uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Leonidas has time to react.
Leonidas misses with a hook. Yi ducked under it nicely.
Leonidas pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Yi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Leonidas paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Yi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Leonidas manages to avoid it.
Yi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Leonidas.

Yi takes the fight into the clinch.

Leonidas takes an elbow to the temple.

Zeus Leonidas's cut is getting worse.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Yi misses with a hook from the clinch.
Yi misses with a punch to the body.
Yi misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Yi lands a nice elbow.
Yi lands a left hand.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Yi creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Yi tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Leonidas's elbow.
Yi is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Leonidas is defending well for now.
Leonidas is trying to force a seperation but Yi has the dominant position.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Leonidas wants to break free but Yi has control.
Yi has Leonidas pressed against the cage, preventing Leonidas from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Leonidas breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Zen Yi dominated that round.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Leonidas scoring well with a low kick there.
Leonidas smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Yi avoids a kick to the body.
Leonidas cracks Yi with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Yi is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Leonidas rather than just go for the knockout.

Leonidas throws a nice outside leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Yi moves into the clinch.
Yi comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Yi misses with a hook to the ribs.
Yi misses with an elbow over the top.
Leonidas is trying to break the clinch but Yi has him pressed against the cage.

Leonidas pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Yi misses the shot to the body.
Leonidas looks to land a right hand but Yi moved out of range.
Yi avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Yi gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Leonidas gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Yi is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zeus Leonidas!
After winning the bout, Zeus Leonidas thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
