The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan wants to clinch.
Ali Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Matic.
Matic avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Khan walks into a left hand.
Matic lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Matic dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Khan. That did some damage!
Khan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Khan misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Matic counters with a good low kick that Khan was not able to check.
Khan drops his hands momentarily and Matic needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Khan just on the top of the head. Khan drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Khan - he's done!
