The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Landry takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Oyama looks to land a combination. Landry sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Landry takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Landry tries to close the distance and clinch up but Oyama swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Landry drives through and clinches with Oyama against the cage.

Landry has picked Oyama up - he's going for a ride! Landry dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Landry knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Oyama on the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Oyama moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Oyama has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Clean and Green. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Oyama is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Landry rolls with it to try and escape but Oyama cranks on the arm and Landry is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
