Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bjj Pro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cevada Bacon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bjj Pro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Cevada Bacon!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bacon tries to clinch up.
Bacon throws a head kick that misses.
Bacon scores with a body shot.
Bacon connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Pro shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bacon's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Pro slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Bacon tries to strike from the bottom.
Bacon is trying to keep Pro in close.
Pro stays in close to Bacon's body and controls the position.
Bacon wants to sweep but no luck.
Bacon controls Pro momentarily but Pro frees himself.

Cevada Bacon has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Pro scores with a body shot.

Bjj Pro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pro stuffs the takedown attempt from Bacon. Bacon gets slowly back to his feet.

Pro closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bacon quickly recovers to half guard.

Pro is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Pro takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Pro has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We've been hearing that Pro has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Pro seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bacon for as long as he can get away with.

Pro is looking for a kimura but Bacon is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pro to get the leverage.
Bacon is looking to control Pro's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bacon avoid being mounted?

Pro tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bacon knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Pro is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Pro moves into full mount! Bacon won't be happy about that!
Bacon is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.

Bacon tries to hold on but Pro pushes him away.
Pro controlling the pace for now.

Pro takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bacon is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Pro misses with a right hand
and Bacon counters with a nice low kick that buckles Pro's knee momentarily.

Bacon gets caught flat footed, as Pro shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pro is stalling in the full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pro accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Pro engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Pro tries to free his leg and advance position but Bacon is retaining full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bacon is on top in guard.
Pro keeping moving, preventing Bacon from controlling successfully.
Bacon is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Pro manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bacon manages to get himself to full guard.
Pro's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Pro trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Bacon wants to stand and escape but Pro is having none of it.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Cevada Bacon.

Pro closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Bjj Pro overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Pro wants to work for an arm triangle but Bacon is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Pro seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bacon has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pro is working away from the top position though.
Pro content to control rather than advance.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Bacon has hold of Pro's hands but Pro slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Bacon trying to hold on to Pro's head to control him but Pro postures up.
Pro thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Bacon gets caught napping as Pro dives in and scores a takedown. Bacon manages to retain guard.
Pro is in close to Bacon's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Pro not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Bacon is controlling Pro's posture.

Pro trying to control but Bacon is working from the bottom.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Pro not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

We're going to have a standup here because Bjj Pro wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Pro feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bacon blocks a leg kick.
Bacon misses with a few strikes there.
Bacon closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pro circles away.

Pro dives in and scores a takedown into Bacon's guard.
Pro postures up.
Pro stays in close to Bacon's body and controls the position.
Pro wants to control from the top but Bacon keeps moving.
Pro in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Bjj Pro wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Bacon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pro paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Bacon throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Pro bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Bacon is trying to get back to half guard.

Pro is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bacon is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Pro lands some shots froms side control.
Pro working away.
You can see the frustration on Bacon's face as Pro controls the position.
Bacon manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Pro working for a triangle but Bacon defends it easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bacon takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Pro wants to sweep but no luck.

Pro working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bacon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bacon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Pro is pulling down on Bacon's head to control his posture.

Pro is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Pro looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Pro had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bacon defends it easily.
Bjj Pro is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Pro holds on and takes a little breather.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Pro scores with a nice body kick.
Bacon doesn't manage to clinch there - Pro circles away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Pro shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bacon manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bjj Pro showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Pro, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
