Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ian Johning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robin Danielsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johning comes to the cage accompanied by Japanese Samurai Music Esashi Oiwake Shakuhachi . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johning blocks a leg kick.

Johning darts in and clinches Danielsson up against the cage.
Danielsson is trying to pull guard but Johning turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Johning's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Johning drags the fight down to the ground.

Johning has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Danielsson off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Johning throws a head kick but Danielsson moves out of range.

Danielsson shoots in looking for a takedown but Johning manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Danielsson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Danielsson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Johning manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Johning pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Johning lands with a nice body kick.
Johning throws a sloppy head kick and Danielsson moves out of range easily.
Danielsson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Johning is fending him off so far but Danielsson persists. Nope, Johning circles away and we're back to standing.
Johning leaves Danielsson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Danielsson can't find room to land a body shot as Johning controls the action.
Danielsson is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Danielsson is persisting with his attempts to control the action in the clinch, rather than do any real damage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Danielsson looks to land a combination but Johning avoids it well.

and Johning counters with a shoot takedown. Danielsson fights it but they end up in guard.
Danielsson wants to hit a switch here but Johning passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Danielsson there!

Johning has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Johning moves to the back position.
Danielsson is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Johning.
Danielsson rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Danielsson is looking to get back to full guard here but Johning has managed to pass to side control instead.

Danielsson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Johning sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Danielsson somewhat.
Danielsson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Johning shoots for a takedown but Danielsson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Johning keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Danielsson's efforts to push away.

Danielsson is trying to push Johning away but Johning has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Johning crunches a lovely knee into Danielsson's ribcage.

Johning is trying to trip Danielsson. He has hold of a leg but Danielsson is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Johning persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Johning is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Danielsson looks calm but he's in trouble here. Johning gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Danielsson is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Johning lets go of the hold and Danielsson can pop his arm back in it's socket.
