Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mako Hyuga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Bog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mako Hyuga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jordan Bog!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hyuga shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bog but Bog pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Bog moves into the clinch successfully.
Hyuga pressing his opponent against the cage.
Bog drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hyuga gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Bog goes for a takedown attempt but Hyuga pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Bog lands a slapping body shot.
Hyuga fails with the takedown.
Bog slaps away a takedown attempt from Hyuga, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mako Hyuga. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bog changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hyuga looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Hyuga manages to get back to half guard.
Hyuga is trying to stand back up but Bog is controlling him
Hyuga is concentrating on defense, preventing Bog from advancing position.

Bog really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hyuga. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hyuga slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Hyuga is pulling down on Bog's head. It's preventing any offense from Bog, at least for the moment.
Hyuga wants to sweep here but Bog controlling him for the moment.

Hyuga doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Bog trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Hyuga manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Bog is striking off his back. Hyuga thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.

Bog wants to get back to his feet.
Hyuga working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Hyuga decides to stand and escape the position.
Hyuga throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hyuga misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Hyuga blocks a low kick nicely.
Bog closes the distance but Hyuga moves to the side

and Hyuga counters by moving into the clinch.

Hyuga escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bog tries to bum rush Hyuga with a series of wild strikes but Hyuga uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bog scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Bog ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hyuga moves away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's time! Hyuga's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Hyuga has closed the distance and engaged Bog in a clinch.

Bog trying to control the position from guard on top but Hyuga is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hyuga pulls Bog in close to his closed guard and prevents Bog from doing any damage or advancing position.
Hyuga bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bog's guard.

Hyuga gets to his feet. Bog looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Bog tries to close the distance and clinch but Hyuga swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Hyuga shoots in but no luck this time.
Hyuga shoots in but Bog avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mako Hyuga is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bog keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Bog dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hyuga looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bog rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hyuga moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bog tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hyuga sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bog somewhat.

Hyuga throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bog.

Hyuga will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hyuga is looking to clinch but Bog is avoiding it.
Hyuga pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Hyuga just misses with a punch to the body.
Hyuga avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Hyuga tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bog swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Hyuga is trying to drag Bog to the mat but Bog just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Hyuga shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bog sprawls well. Bog wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hyuga gets slowly back to his feet.
Jordan Bog seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bog throws a low kick, looking for Hyuga's leg but Hyuga calmly moves out of range.

Bog motions for Hyuga to come forward. Bog throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Hyuga throws a sloppy head kick and Bog moves out of range easily.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Bog throws a front kick aimed at Hyuga's knee but Hyuga avoids it well.

Bog finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Hyuga tries to throw a body punch but Bog avoids it by throwing Hyuga back against the cage.

Bog stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bog wants it to stay on the feet.

Bog is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hyuga.

Jordan Bog seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Bog ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hyuga moves away.

No joy there for Bog, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bog is looking to clinch.

Bog content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Bog must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Hyuga has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Bog should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Hyuga has tightened it up now! Bog should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
