The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hopkins wants to control the action here but instead Blake manages to pass to full mount!

Blake jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hopkins is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hopkins and Blake has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Hopkins is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Blake jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Hopkins manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Blake is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hopkins knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Blake wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hopkins, who protects the arm well.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Blake stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hopkins swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hopkins is pulling down on Blake's head to control his posture.

Blake drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Blake jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Blake is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Blake is fighting to break Hopkins's control of his arms but Hopkins is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Blake forces his way into half guard.
Hopkins knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Blake on the ground.
Blake is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Hopkins!
Hopkins is trying desperately to improve position.
Blake throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Blake moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Hopkins has worked his arm free - good work by Hopkins!

Blake swings around for an armbar but Hopkins sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Blake's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blake gets full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Blake has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Hopkins should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Blake has tightened it up now! Hopkins should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
