Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kraven Meatballs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Shout at the Devil kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meatballs tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ryan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Meatballs shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ryan but Ryan pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Meatballs closes the distance and clinches up with Ryan, looking for a takedown. Meatballs pushes Ryan against the cage but Ryan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kraven Meatballs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Meatballs shoots in for a double leg but Ryan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Meatballs tries to bum rush Ryan with a series of wild strikes but Ryan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Ryan shoots in and bounces Meatballs off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Ryan doesn't have the hooks in and Meatballs manages to turn into his guard.

Meatballs is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ryan is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ryan has escaped and now he's on top!

Meatballs working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ryan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Meatballs is tightening it up a little... Ryan has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Ryan reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Ryan taps out! nice BJJ there by Meatballs!
