Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Van Damme (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Fall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damme comes to the cage accompanied by Fight to Survive. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Van Damme!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Fall!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fall misses with a hook
and Damme counters with a nice uppercut.
Damme feints and then cracks Fall's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Fall down.
Damme scores with a leg kick.
Fall looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Damme is fending him off so far but Fall persists. Nope, Damme circles away and we're back to standing.
Fall swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A lazy left from Fall finds it's target.

Fall shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Fall was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Fall goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Damme rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Fall's guard! Nice work there by Damme!

Fall is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Damme wants to get up but he can't break Fall's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Jack Fall showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Fall ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Damme bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Fall's head backwards.
Fall takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Damme lands with an overhand left.

Damme gets caught napping as Fall dives in and scores a takedown. Damme manages to retain guard.

Fall postures up in Damme's guard and throws a big left but Damme blocks it.
Damme keeping moving, preventing Fall from controlling successfully.
Damme wants to stand up but Fall is controlling him.
Fall trying to control the position from guard on top but Damme is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Jack Fall has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Fall takes a swing at Damme's ribcage but misses.
Fall scores with a body shot.
Damme throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Fall sees it coming and avoids it easily.

After the fight, Jack Fall was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
