Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Oath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renzo Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oath comes to the cage accompanied by Fuck your guts out. Machida has chosen No more Shadows for the Past- NARNIA as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Oath!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Renzo Machida!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oath thumps Machida with a low kick.
Oath has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Machida misses with an attempted mid kick.
Oath punishes Machida's body with a nice straight punch.
Machida avoids the head kick by Oath.
Machida lands with a right hand.


It looks like Ken Oath has been cut.
A slapping leg kick lands for Oath.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Machida takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Oath changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Machida tries to avoid it but Oath manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Machida to the ground. Machida escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Machida lands a nice hook to Oath's body. Oath takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

and Oath counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
