Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carl Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arthur Halo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carl Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arthur Halo!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Halo's coach down at Cylon Training Academy(150/week) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Halo's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Halo misses with a straight right.
Johnson connects with a looping right hand.
Halo dives in and grabs Johnson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes down on Halo's head and hops out.
Johnson fails to land with a series of punches.
Johnson scores with a jab. Halo acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Halo dodges the punch combination from Johnson.
Halo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Johnson.
Johnson tries to bum rush Halo with a series of wild strikes but Halo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Johnson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Halo.
Halo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Johnson as he jumps to the side.
Johnson throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Johnson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Halo circles away quickly and effectively.
Johnson misses with a series of wild punches.
Halo fails in his attempt to clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A nice combination there by Johnson.
Halo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Johnson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Johnson throws a series of strikes that have Halo backpedaling.
Halo avoids a punch combination nicely.
Some wild striking there from Johnson.
Johnson scores with a nice right hand.
Johnson throws a right and a left that Halo avoids nicely.
Halo misses with a hook. Johnson ducked under it nicely.
Johnson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Halo dodges the punch combination from Johnson.
Johnson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Halo tries to land a front kick but Johnson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Johnson tries to sprawl but Halo drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Halo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Johnson defends it well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Halo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Johnson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Halo wants to free his trapped foot but Johnson is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Halo is trying to control the action in half guard but Johnson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Halo is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Johnson wants to stand back up but Halo manages to pass into side control.
Halo in side control, throwing shots but Johnson defends.

Halo is working to tighten his grip on Johnson's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Johnson has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Halo is really squeezing tight and eventually Johnson passes out! Halo breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Arthur Halo!
Carl Johnson was interviewed post fight and said 'I try to give my best i always fight 100 % but this time he was better than me may be next time i wll be better. Now i go back to rest a little bit and going back to the gym and come back more stronger. Thanks for all the support to all fans here appreciate it.'.
