Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Lawrence (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Bonanno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ronnie Lawrence has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ronnie Lawrence seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Emerson Jorge and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonanno gets a clinch.
Lawrence has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Bonanno works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Bonanno connects with a couple of short punches.
Lawrence thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Lawrence wants to sweep here but Bonanno controlling him for the moment.
Bonanno trying to control the position from guard on top but Lawrence is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bonanno is fighting to break Lawrence's control of his arms but Lawrence is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Bonanno stands up over Lawrence, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Bonanno wants to control from the top but Lawrence keeps moving.
Lawrence really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Peter Bonanno.
Bonanno shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Bonanno prevents Lawrence from improving his position.
Lawrence regains full guard. Nicely done.
Bonanno looking to sit in guard and control but Lawrence gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Bonanno looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lawrence is one step ahead there.

Bonanno working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lawrence doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lawrence manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Bonanno is working an open guard so Lawrence takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Bonanno throws a sloppy head kick and Lawrence moves out of range easily.
Lawrence shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bonanno as he jumps to the side.
Bonanno looks to land a combination but Lawrence avoids it well.
Bonanno has closed the distance and engaged Lawrence in a clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bonanno decides to pull guard.
Lawrence loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Lawrence missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Lawrence lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Bonanno has control of Lawrence's left arm, preventing Lawrence from doing any damage.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bonanno can do anything to dispel that myth.
Lawrence decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bonanno, up you get!
Bonanno gets caught flat footed, as Lawrence shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Lawrence throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Lawrence lands a couple of elbows.
Lawrence stands up and waves to Bonanno to follow him.
Bonanno closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bonanno lands in his opponent's guard.
Lawrence is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lawrence is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Bonanno's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Bonanno works over Lawrence with some ground and pound from guard.
Lawrence bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bonanno's guard.
Lawrence has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bonanno is proving hard to escape from.
Lawrence will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Lawrence throws a big elbow that misses.
Bonanno is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lawrence decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bonanno, up you get!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Peter Bonanno will probably get the nod.
That's time! Lawrence's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Bonanno has Lawrence up against the cage in a clinch.
Lawrence is fighting off a takedown attempt but Bonanno is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Lawrence to the mat. Lawrence regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Bonanno won't allow Lawrence to sweep him here.
Bonanno would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Lawrence trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Bonanno slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Bonanno tries to free his leg and advance position but Lawrence is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Peter Bonanno was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Bonanno pushes Lawrence up against the cage in a clinch.

Bonanno manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Lawrence stands and steps away. Bonanno gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Lawrence works the jab nicely.
Lawrence misses with a few strikes there.
Bonanno throws a nice outside leg kick.
Lawrence takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Bonanno closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lawrence did well to prevent Bonanno getting side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lawrence is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bonanno's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bonanno's back!
Bonanno is trying to break free.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lawrence has got one arm under Bonanno's chin. This could be trouble... Bonanno trying to control the other hand but Lawrence gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Bonanno has tapped out! The fight is over!
