The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boycoff throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Lop Lopp has been cut.
Lopp takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Boycoff keeps Lopp at a distance using the push kick.

Lopp decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lopp connects with a nice short shot to Boycoff's temple.
Boycoff is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Lopp scores with a couple of nice shots.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Boycoff can do anything to dispel that myth.
