Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chris Pain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Punchy McFacerton!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pain shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McFacerton pinned against the cage. McFacerton gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Pain looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

McFacerton instigates a clinch.

McFacerton wants to get back to striking at distance but Pain won't allow it.

McFacerton is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Pain can't fight it off and eventually McFacerton manages to take the fight to the floor. Pain looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

McFacerton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pain. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Pain tries to buck McFacerton off but McFacerton is having none of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

McFacerton is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Pain can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

BOOM! McFacerton connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Pain is trying to reverse the position but instead McFacerton has taken his back - oops!

Punchy McFacerton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Pain's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

McFacerton feints and as Pain raises his hands in defense, McFacerton changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

McFacerton decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Well McFacerton has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
