Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinnie Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Jones decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Brooks's guard.
Jones wants to control from the top but Brooks keeps moving.
Brooks can't keep his opponent in guard - Jones advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Jones with the ground and pound but Brooks uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Jones postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones is looking to pass into half guard but Brooks pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Brooks is in guard.

Brooks frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Brooks has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Jones tries to lock up and control but Brooks gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Brooks cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Jones is desperately trying to improve his position but Brooks has a good base and remains in mount.
Brooks wants to control the pace but Jones is squirming around nicely.
Jones keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Brooks scoring with strikes but Jones is staying in there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brooks lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Jones hang on?
