The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Ivan Kurochkin and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tkyka stuffs the takedown attempt from Rose. Rose gets slowly back to his feet.
Tkyka lands a nice leg kick that just misses Rose's sensitive parts.
Rose takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

A combination from Tkyka does no damage.
Tkyka lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Tkyka throws a right and a left that Rose avoids nicely.
No luck for Rose with that takedown attempt.
Tkyka pushes Rose away with a front kick.
Tkyka pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Rose back to the cage. Tkyka follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Rose tries to move into range but Tkyka moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rose takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Tkyka lands with a nice body kick.

Tkyka cracks Rose with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Rose takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Rose shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tkyka pinned against the cage. Tkyka gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carl Rose. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tkyka lands with a good body shot.
Rose shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Rose is looking for a kimura but Tkyka is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rose to get the leverage.

Rose thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Rose drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Rose as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Tkyka screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Rose! Nice submission victory there!
