Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tyrone Colon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tyrone Colon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jackson Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Colon quickly recovers to half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Ground and pound from Jackson.
Colon is trying to get back to full guard.
Jackson is looking to advance position but Colon won't allow it.
Colon could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Colon wants to control but Jackson is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Colon is holding on to half guard well.
Colon trying to control from the bottom.
Colon might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Jackson tries to stand but can't do so whilst Colon controls his leg.

Tyrone Colon has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Jackson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jackson wants it to stay on the feet.

Jackson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Colon to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Colon jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jackson walks away with a smile on his face. Colon gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Jackson clinches up with Colon and pushes him back against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Jackson - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Colon tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jackson just stands there and leans against the cage.
Colon keeps control of Jackson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Colon decides to pull guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jackson wants to stand but Colon is controlling his posture from full guard.

Jackson stands up from Colon's guard - Jackson perhaps looking for a knockout.

Colon gets caught flat footed, as Jackson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Colon keeping moving, preventing Jackson from controlling successfully.

Colon has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jackson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Jackson wants to get up but he can't break Colon's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Jackson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Colon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Colon pulls Jackson in close to his closed guard and prevents Jackson from doing any damage or advancing position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Jackson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Colon is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jackson wants to control but Colon is keeping him busy.

Colon drives through with a takedown into Jackson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Colon stands up and waves to Jackson to follow him.

Jackson is looking to work his way around to Colon's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Colon tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Jackson throwing strikes here but Colon is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Colon wants to hold on but Jackson pushes him away.
Colon tries to control Jackson's body but Jackson pushes him off. Colon squirms to his side and now Jackson has his back!
Jackson is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Colon. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jackson has the hooks in. Colon is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Jackson has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Colon has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Jackson wants to control but Colon manages to buck him off and is now in Jackson's guard! Nice work there by Colon!
Colon has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jackson is proving hard to escape from.

Well Jackson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
