Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cavan Cartwright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Missa Okami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cartwright comes to the cage accompanied by The Irish Fighting Song. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cavan Cartwright!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Missa Okami!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Micheangelo Fripello and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Cartwright lands with a short head shot on the inside.
It looks like Missa Okami has been cut.
Cartwright tries to work over Okami's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Okami jumps guard.
Our spies down at at Blitzkrieg Fighting Systems: Ground inform us that Okami has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Okami is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Cartwright missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Cartwright is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Okami is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Cartwright stays in close to Okami's body and controls the position.
Okami is looking for a triangle here but Cartwright uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cartwright scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Okami to see if he's OK.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cartwright has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Cartwright postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Okami looks a forlorn figure.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Cartwright cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cartwright lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Okami is looking to improve his position but Cartwright isn't that keen on the idea.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Okami is in a horrible position here. Cartwright smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Okami is rocked!
That has opened up Missa Okami's cut even more.
Cartwright has control of Okami's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Okami regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Missa Okami's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Missa Okami's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Cavan Cartwright!
During a confident post fight interview, Cavan Cartwright thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
