Havener has chosen My Dick: Mickey Avalon as his entrance music. Andrew Havener is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rick Rude!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 15 - 3, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andrew Havener!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Valeri Chadov and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rude fails to land with a series of punches.
Rude shoots in but no luck this time.
Rude ducks under a wild hook from Havener.
A slow jab from Havener misses its intended target.
Havener doesn't manage to clinch there - Rude circles away.
Andrew Havener seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rude tries to score a power double leg takedown but Havener sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rude somewhat.
A looping hook to the body misses from Havener. Rude does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rude swats away the attempt to clinch by Havener.
Havener misses with a body shot.
Havener tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Rude makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Havener wants to slow Rude down by chopping away at his legs.
Rude keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rude with a body punch. A glancing blow.

Havener throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Havener clinches up against the cage.
Rude blocking some punches.
Rude avoids a wild elbow strike from Havener.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Havener tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Rude avoids it.
Rude tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Rude working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Havener blocks a body shot from Rude.

Havener breaks from the clinch.
Havener throws a leg kick but Rude checks it.
Rude connects with a good right hand that stumbles Havener. Havener circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Havener doesn't manage to clinch there - Rude circles away.

Rude avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Havener is looking to clinch but Rude is avoiding it.
Havener throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Andrew Havener is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Havener throws a right and a left that Rude avoids nicely.
Havener throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rude on the side of the head.
Rude displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Havener throws out the jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Havener misses with an uppercut.
Havener throws a series of punches but Rude avoids them all with ease.
Havener on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Havener misses with a hook
and Rude counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.


Havener is rocked!
Havener misses with a body punch
and Rude counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Havener to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Rude!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Rick Rude!
Rick Rude really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that GREEN!160 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
Andrew Havener was interviewed post fight and said 'Win/lose I love an ass beating'.
