The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lykourgos's waist but Lykourgos gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.
Silva walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

It looks like Hernane Silva has been cut.
Silva takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Lykourgos just misses with a punch to the body.
Lykourgos scores with a nice strike.
Lykourgos lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lykourgos bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Silva's head backwards.
Lykourgos lands with a hook. Silva tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
A jab from Lykourgos finds it's way through Silva's defenses.
Lykourgos keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Silva is rocked!
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
A decent looking cross lands there for Lykourgos.
Silva is still on wobbly legs! Can Lykourgos finish him?
Lykourgos cracks Silva with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Silva falls to his knees and Lykourgos doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
