Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mamas Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oliver Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Oliver Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mamas Boy!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Skip Squint and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tests Boy's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Boy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily.
Boy defending well as Jones loads up on a big left hand.
Jones loads up on a big right hand but Boy slips the punch.
Boy closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Boy pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jones uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Boy has time to react.
Jones misses with a wild body shot.
Jones swings widly with a right hand
and Boy moves into the clinch.
Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jones throws a shot from downtown. Boy moves away and avoids it.
Boy shoots in looking for a takedown but Jones manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Boy's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Oliver Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mamas Boy.
Boy tries for a takedown but Jones sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Boy slips under a jab from Jones.
Jones connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Boy's hands.
Boy takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Boy staying out of range there.
Boy on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jones misses with a wild body shot.
Jones swings widly with a right hand
and Boy counters with a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Boy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jones's guard.
Boy won't allow Jones to get back to his feet.
Jones pushes Boy off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Jones misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Boy counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Jones stuffs the takedown attempt from Boy. Boy gets slowly back to his feet.
Boy looks winded!
Boy takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Jones cracks Boy with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Jones throws a good cross that connects.
Nice shot lands for Jones.
Jones looks to land a right hand but Boy moved out of range.
Boy takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boy slips under a jab from Jones.
Oliver Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A punch lands to the side of Boy 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Jones looks to throw the jab but Boy is out of range.
Oliver Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jones looks to land a left hand but Boy moved out of range nicely.
Jones misses the jab.

A slow jab from Jones misses its intended target.
Jones keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Jones jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Jones is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Jones missing with a left hand there. Boy was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Boy has a takedown stuffed.
Donk. Jones catches Boy right on the button with a cross.
Nice sprawl there from Jones as Boy shoots in.
Jones connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Jones throws a jab when Boy was well out of range.
Jones misses with a hook. Boy ducked under it nicely.
Jones stuns Boy with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Jones bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Boy's head.
Boy drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Boy takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jones cracks Boy with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Jones misses with an uppercut. Boy saw that one coming.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jones changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Jones loads up on a big right hand but Boy slips the punch.
Jones scores with a punch to the head.
No luck for Boy with that takedown attempt.
Boy takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Jones lands a head shot.
Jones clobbers Boy with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Nice uppercut there from Jones.
Boy on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Jones connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Boy momentarily.
Jones swings for the body but Boy moves out of range.
Boy walks into a left hand.
Jones slaps away a takedown attempt from Boy, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jones misses with an uppercut. Boy saw that one coming.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jones lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A big right from Jones misses.
Jones wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jones misses with a hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Boy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Boy off to one side.
It looks like Jones has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Jones missing with a left hand there. Boy was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Boy is rocked!
Jones throws a lazy uppercut
letting Boy counter with a right hand.
Jones lands a slapping body shot.
Jones slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Boy is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him?
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Boy blocks a jab.
Jones punishes Boy's body with a nice straight punch.
Jones pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Boy slips a jab from Jones.
Jones slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Jones thows a left - swing and a miss!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Oliver Jones dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Boy shoots in but Jones avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jones misses with a looping left.
Jones lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Jones throws a hook to the side of Boy's head but Boy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Boy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jones is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Boy.
Jones throws an overhand right that drops Boy like a sack of potatoes! Jones dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oliver Jones!
