The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Taylor clinches up against the cage.
Rothko tries to pull guard but Taylor forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Taylor keeps the fight on the outside.
Rothko tries to score a power double leg takedown but Taylor sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rothko somewhat.
Rothko circles away from the clinch attempt.
A head kick by Rothko misses
and Taylor counters with a nice leg kick.

Taylor moves into the clinch.
Taylor is pressed up against the cage. Rothko has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Taylor down to the mat. Taylor avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Tat Taylor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Walter Rothko .

Taylor pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rothko is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Taylor moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
