Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hubert Raymond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Roper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roper has chosen Mr.Roper, Mr.Roper by Irish Terry Conklin as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Donatello Bradman and Ben Watson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roper scores with a shot to the body.
Horrible takedown by Raymond or perhaps it was just good defense by Roper which made him look bad.
Roper cracks the inside of Raymond's front leg.
Roper bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Raymond's head backwards.
Raymond takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Roper goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Roper lands a body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Raymond on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Roper misses with a two punch combination.
Nice uppercut there from Roper.

Raymond is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Raymond displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Roper throws out the jab.
Oh Raymond is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Roper throws a hook to the side of Raymond's head but Raymond sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
No joy there for Roper, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Roper feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Raymond collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jim Roper!
A relieved looking Jim Roper thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
