Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Terry Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ben farrier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

farrier moves into range and clinches up with Thomas.
Thomas is looking for a takedown up against the cage. farrier gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Thomas pulls guard effortlessly.
Thomas wants to sweep here but farrier controlling him for the moment.
farrier throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Thomas works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

farrier has control of Thomas's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Thomas regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Thomas connects with a nice short shot to farrier's temple.

farrier bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Thomas's guard.
Thomas wants to stand and escape but farrier is having none of it.
