Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vlad Vladimirovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Heke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vladimirovich has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. The key to victory for Vlad Vladimirovich has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vlad Vladimirovich! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jake Heke! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vladimirovich darts in and clinches Heke up against the cage. Vladimirovich is trying to break the clinch but Heke has him pressed against the cage. Heke missing with knees to the body.
Heke escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vladimirovich misses with a two punch combination.
Heke shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Vladimirovich napping and manages to drive through into side control! The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Heke working the ground and pound but Vladimirovich is defending the strikes. Vladimirovich is breathing heavily. Heke decides to take the fight back to the feet. Vladimirovich has managed to clinch.
Vladimirovich tries to break free but Heke pushes him back against the cage. Heke crunches a lovely knee into Vladimirovich's ribcage. This has been an exciting period of action! Heke tries to land a knee to the head but Vladimirovich blocks with his arms.

That's one minute gone in the round. Knees to the body from Heke.
Heke throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Vladimirovich blocks it with crossed arms. Heke's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Heke has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Vladimirovich uses from the top position. Heke is looking to cinch up a triangle. Vladimirovich throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Heke's body to avoid the submission. Heke has instead reached around Vladimirovich's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Heke arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Jake Heke!
