Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nestor Gonzalez!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Gonzalez with that takedown attempt.
Medeiros looks to land a combination but Gonzalez avoids it well.
Medeiros looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Gonzalez misses with a takedown attempt - Medeiros sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Gonzalez tries to close the distance and clinch but Medeiros swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A combination from Medeiros does no damage.
Medeiros 's jab looks to have found its range, popping Gonzalez under the eye.

It looks like Nestor Gonzalez has been cut.
Gonzalez has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Gonzalez there as he acknowledges the shot.
Gonzalez chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Medeiros can pounce on him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Medeiros lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Gonzalez at a distance.
Gonzalez shoots in for a takedown but Medeiros shows good takedown defense.
Rodrigo Medeiros has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nestor Gonzalez.
Medeiros plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Gonzalez to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Gonzalez just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

Rodrigo Medeiros spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
