Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vlad Impaler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ash Campbell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Campbell has chosen Sun Poison and Skin Cancer as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Impaler or perhaps it was just good defense by Campbell which made him look bad.
Campbell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Impaler was well out of range. Poor timing from Campbell.

Impaler shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Impaler showed some decent athleticism there.

Impaler is looking for a kimura but Campbell is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Impaler to get the leverage.
Campbell felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

A head kick lands from Campbell that sends Impaler to the canvas. Impaler tries to scramble back to his feet but Campbell brings him back down into side control.

Campbell crunches a massive hammerfist down on Impaler - he's out! Campbell Holds back on further strikes and jumps to his feet to celebrate with the crowd!
