Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Donald McTavish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Satoru Matsue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McTavish throws a lazy right hand but Matsue sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Matsue looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
McTavish misses with a looping right.
Matsue on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

McTavish misses with a hook. Matsue ducked under it nicely.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Matsue has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
McTavish throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Matsue ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Matsue cracks McTavish with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends McTavish tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Matsue pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! McTavish is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
