Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kam Ba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seth Zane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zane is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Alexisonfire - Mailbox Arson. Seth Zane struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.7lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Seth Zane has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Kavanagh and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ba shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Ba looking to pass the guard.
Zane wants to sweep but no luck.
Zane is trying to keep Ba in close.
Our spies down at at Demon's Elite Gym (9 Elite) inform us that Zane has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Zane wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
We're going to have a standup here because Kam Ba wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Ba shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Zane wants to hit a switch here but Ba passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Zane there!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Ba goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Zane turns into him and now he's in Ba's guard.

Ba is looking to stand up but Zane isn't so interested in that idea.

Zane pushes down on Ba's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Ba is defending against the submission attempts here by Zane.
Zane has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Ba defend it? Zane steps over the head and cranks it - Ba is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Zane!
